so... last night I was debating getting up and leaving windsor early this morning, looked at the time, and decided that running on 6 hours of sleep through toronto would be a bad idea. I wake up, and my aunt says "you might want to go check your car. Norm says he hit it". Now, anyone who knows me, knows I can be laid back and sarcastic... it runs in the family. My mind tries to figure out if this is serious, or Norm's (my uncle) way of suggesting I move the car. (He was suppose to take one car, but he took the other car instead...) I go out and look at it - by the *LOOKS* of it my front license plate holder has been bent, along with my front plate. Well, he must have been... "leaving with intent" to go and do that. ...that is the question. And the answer - not to be here. I leave for the great winterpeg sometime between now, and wednesday morning. So if you need me for anything between now and october... sorry, it'll have to wait! Unless it's urgent. Even then depending on who you are... But seriously, the guy calls be out of no where, waits a week, then says "OMG I NEED YOU LIEK NAO!" dude... you waited a week and I can't have a couple hours? What is so urgent dude? One more thing... I don't get to watch the rest of Dr. Who... it makes me sad. Allie, you better DL and burn me them. the rest of the episodes. if you don't, i'll cry. All I can say, is wtf. When you get put in charge of scheduling people, and they say they can work "whenever", that's generally your go ahead to put them in anytime you want, right? WRONG! apparently anytime doesn't count weekends. Oh, and apparently, when someone else says they only want one shift (Sunday night), it really means they want to give you more of a headache by taking another shift, which you never gave them in the first place - then after they took it, with an hour till they should be at work, they say "oh, can you cover it for me plz?" WHAT THE FUCK!? Did I miss a memo that says all common courtesy is to be tossed out a fucking window, thayt commitment counts for SFA, and it's piss-off-dave week or something? (Certain people obviously didn't get the memo either, and I <3 them for either not getting it, or ignoring it.) I use the term girl loosely... 26.< Long story cut sideways, I work my ass off for two months, I can walk into a 26k/yr job. I know, i know... it sucks as pay... but hey, I'm getting paid, and I'm not out of pocket for flying... and it'd be multi! weee! multi engine time! lookitmego! downside - I'd move out west .calgary< and be working up in the middle of buttfuck nowhere... like... inuvik. Well, I've managed to get a third job, or second job at the airport. so, per month, I'll be happy and making money... this month... not so much... I've promised some people to do some things for them, and I'm going to be broke after that, and I just pray that I have enough to cancel one thing, and not get yelled at by the insurance company... but hey, I don't break my promises. it is official... I do NOT break PROMISES! Anyhow, after this month, everything *should* be back to normal... I hope... On a lighter note, After my MIFR, I should be able to leave YOW and walk into a right seat... but before that, it's more money that I need... GAH! why does everything revolve around money...
